Umm... look at what we have here. We don't see too many things dated 1793 in the U.S forums. Is this coin currently in your possession?

The coin has some pitting and a couple of scratches but I am guessing it won't prevent it from receiving a problem free grade. The details are EF but the pitting, scratches, and slightly dark color for the grade may cause it receive a small downgrade. I have been going back and forth between VF-35 and EF-40. I will put my guess at VF-35. Sweet, Sweet coin!

When I first saw it I thought about Fine.Am I missing something?
Grading shouldn't get softer the older the coin.

Could be pitting but more likely it could be a planchet flaw. I would say there is almost no chance this would end up in a details holder. Remember, these do not get graded the same way you grade a Morgan. Beautiful coin!
Rest in Peace

She is a beauty. I haven't graded a US coin in a long time but I'll give this one a shot. With the slightly porous surface and wear I'd grade it at EF-40.

Wow, that is a dream coin!

At first glance it looks AU, but I'll say EF-45 due to the hair. I hope it didn't get details due to scratches...
