I am havin trouble dating this coin.
Any clue of the value? I have 5 in different sizes but the same markings.

The year is 1936 of the Ethiopian Calender in Ge'ez script which equates to 1944.

I think they are of little value but you can look on http://www.ngccoin.com/poplookup/Wo...e-Guide.aspx to check, search for Ethiopia 1936

Personally I am suprised that Ethiopian are coins are not more widely collected.

They have an attractive design, the symbolic Lion of Judah and a unique dating system... they tick the boxes for me
