Hello everyone, this is my first post here and I was wondering if anyone could lend me some insight about this coin. I have had it for almost 30 years now and I have no clue what it is worth. I assume that something like this is rare.

Thank you for any help.

That's an off center penny. I'm no expert on these so I used ebay to see around how much it sales for and a 198? off center penny like this would probably sale for around $5-$15 from what I see. But let an expert tell you. I could be very far off because I usually am.

If it had a full date it would fetch more money I believe.

I thought the partial date was actually interesting. The 198 is perfect but it is missing the 4 number completely.
