I have been searching my latest acquisition, a 75 pound bag of wheats. Roll searching has been very unkind to me in 2013, so I thought I would get another huge bag of wheats to break me out of this funk. I love these bags. One man's trash is another man's treasure. I will post some of my finds for you all to see. I will start with this one, a 1953-D RPM.

CONECA:RPM-028
Wexler:WRPM-040
Cherrypicker's:N/A
Copper Coins:1953D-1MM-033

You did not read the description above. On Coppercoins it is #33. Here is the link http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds

Yes, 75 pounds is a lot to go through. I take my time and look at each and every coin. I start by sorting coins by decade. This bag was easy, as it was only 1940-1958. I toss all the 40'2 in one small container, and the 50's in another small container. Once I have filled either container. I take that container and split them by mint mark using 3 more of the same sized container. And continue the process until one of the mint mark containers is full. Once one of them is full I sort that container by year in my sort tray. After I have sorted that entire container by year. I search all the coins one year at a time. Using this method allows me to pick up on the differences easier, because I am only looking at coins from the same year and mint. Here is a photo of one of the containers, and another of my sort tray.

I must ask where did you get a bag that size?

I get them from auctions, craigslist, and word of mouth. This is one I scored from a local dealer. I say scored because I only paid $4 a pound, which comes out to less than .03 a coin.

Now if I could just find the time to list all of the coins I have found to my website. I have link 200+ coins that I have set aside in clear flips, with a sticker on the flip detailing what each coin is. I need to photo, price, upload, and make the add to cart button for each. So many coins so little time.

I am roughly over half way. The two I have recently posted are only two of the 50 or so I have pulled and set aside for my website. I will try and post a few more this evening. Heck I gotta photograph them anyway, right?
