Hi: Name is Steve. New here and a new on the coin scene. Am loving it but just starting to learn and collect. I have been doing research on this coin and wondering if it is a 1812/11 overdate, O-101. The A in states and the M in UNUM seem to line up. The eight seems like a large 8. I am to new to be able to tell. Would love some help! Sure this has been a topic discussed many times before. Hope the pix are good enough. Best to all, Steve

Welcome to the CCF!
Pics make it abit hard but the stars make it look more like the O-102. Can you get a close up of the date?

It certainly looks like a large 8, close up of the date would help.

HI: Hope this closeup of date works. If not will take another pic. What is it about the stars? Haven't read anything defining stars. Wow, really appreciate all the responses! Thanks all! Steve

Close up of AM on reverse would help but I am Thinking O-104. Are bottom of AM seperated and even?

I'm gonna stick with O-104 (until I get corrected ). Not the 12/11. Very nice Bustie!

Not a 104.
It is an O-108.
Position of the 1 vs the 8 in date, plus the 2 vs the drapery.
Also, the AM close & the CA nearly touches.
