I believe at least 99% of us placed a "poor mans" double die in the 1955 Double Die spot (I know I did).
One thing Dansco got right is leaving that one out of their album.

Well your just going to need to run out and get a 42-s.
Where was it lost?

Put the collection away for 22 years to raise a family. Kids are gone...... Now I'm KID AGAIN.

As per previous posts my Dad and I were collectors in the 70's and 80's. He had a coin store and I was his asst. He passed in 1991 and his huge collection and my modest one have been locked away until last spring when we broke open the safes to cull meltable silver. Pretty much nailed the high over a six week period on that stuff and now I have begun the looooong task of cataloging the collection for disposal/disbursement among my family. See my previous posts over the last few weeks for some of the recent finds. Many more to follow.

I understand that statement. I started re-collecting coins pretty much the day my youngest entered college

Gaz, very nice sir! I have disposed of several of those albums in the last year. The collection I sold on consignment had a number of those albums in it. All the coins I sold out of them were on par with those in yours. They were well made indeed.
