I finished 3 boxes of nickels only 5 older than 1960. About 20% are pure nickel and 2 rolls worth of US. And this one. I am not sure if it was touched on a grinder or it is a mistake. There are only 2 flats.

Picked up 121 rolls of pennies from three different banks this am and hit a nice stash from one TD. These two bundles of rolls caught my eye. 22 rolls gave me this bucket of king George/young heads about 300 pieces. About 140 wheats including 3 steels, 2-1919, 1-1917 This 1933. and this type 2 blank, the second one I've found.

Picked up 2 boxes of pennies at the bank yesterday with older Canadian finds being: 1940, 1943, 1945, 1948, 1949, 1950(2), 1951(2), 1954(2), 1957(4), 1958, and 1959. Also found 3 dimes, 6 wheat cents, a 2004 one cent from Barbados, and a 1974 10 Pennia from Finland.

I can't get boxes or rolls of cents from any banks around me. Those of you who can still get them are very fortunate

I do live in a city with a lot of banks, I just never gave up and if a teller said no I would go back to the same bank when different tellers were there. It is very hit or miss though and getting thinner all the time.

Why would the teller say no and other ones say yes

Not to sure but it happens to me all the time, might be because there are different managers giving them different instructions on penny handling, I really don't know why.

Great penny finds! Those enders were a good sign . Finished my 10 rolls of quarters. A mere 21 were from 2000 and before. Only a few minor upgrades, nothing worth posting. I went to the bank to deposit a cheque, and saw someone with a shoebox full of coins using the coin acceptor. I stalled to check if he left any rejected coins by getting out some nickels and quarters. I noticed he had rolled all of his coins. If I knew that, I probably would have asked if I could buy them off of him, if I had the confidence. To top it all off, I saw pennies coming out of the reject slot. Nickels are looking ok so far

Finished my 10 rolls of nickels and 6 rolls of quarters. That's all my bank had, because it's a smaller branch and it was busy. The nickels weren't too bad. All of the rolls had coins from 2010 and before (with the exception of two rolls having a single 2011), and the above average condition of the mid '00s made me believe they've been unopened for a few years. Nearly half were from 2000 and before. Oldest finds were 1964 and 1966, but they are in good shape. Quarters were alright as well. There was a total of 26 American quarters. Only 13 were 2000 and before. However, included in that number was, to my surprise, a .500 silver 1968. This is my first silver find roll hunting and a hole filler. I believe I found two legitimate errors, which I will get around to posting in the error and variety forum.
