Take a look at the Butterfly. Why it was sold out in less then 2 hours? Because was purchased in big quantities mainly for resale.

I highly doubt many purchased it in big quantities (per person) simply because it was difficult to get many.

I think, 6 - is many.
This isn't "Penny Roll" for C$10.00 or circulated coins packs for face value, it relatively expensive coin.
You'll spend ~1000.00 (6*150 = 900) on it, only if you expect big return.

This is my though, could be I wrong and people get coins purely for presents/trade/sell for issue.

I put 6 as example, because this is the quantity, that MC with 2 accounts can buy.

i love the unique angle. I think it's a stunning visual.

to me a tree is boring, but because of the angle it's stunning.....much like the 20 for 20 polar bear. It could have been a boring polar bear but they made it so it was half in and out of water.

This is a truth.
Like a Polar Bear (20 for 20), the tree looks alive. It is not the single maple leaf, but many on the tree.

And Polar Bear also nice, because it in motion and not centralized on the coin

Didn't we go through this before? Some people insist that the limit is per household and not per MC account. And that the Mint will cancel orders that exceed the limit.
So has anyone had their orders cancelled?

@rickynic - Check your post office. I am betting majority got them and ask the release date so you could make sure you are their that date. May be able to pick up other sold out coins too.

@silverrocket - Canada post is already starting to cancel orders people made. Doubtful there will be any left for their website.

All the coin dealers should have the capony at issue or near issue price.

I agree. As nice as this coin is, it won't be a hit right off the bat. I think people are too pre-occupy with the glass coin to chase after this one.
