The P version is vapor blasted and the non mint mark has a business strike finish and looks like most typical uncirculated coins.

The vapor-blasting process is applied after the coins are struck by "blasting" a compressed mixture of water vapor and ceramic media.

The P version has a matte type of a finish.

It is basically a matte or burnished finish,like the UNC. Eagles.

But I like Teach's description better.
