This calls quality of service.
I saw 3 boxes there, so he probably mentioned to distribute some. And wanted to deliver item in the best condition. Touching even external black sleeve, COA and capsule with unprotected hands causing fingerprints to be seen on these surfaces (in some angles with the light).

There is a question about his gloves and his answer was: "The coins are stored without the protective box to save space in the safety box. So the main reason is to make sure no moisture or oil go to the storage to avoid molds, as there are many coins. Normally, gloves are not worn for coins not stored into the safe. Hope it explains and thank you very much for asking."

I don't mind touching the capsule on the edges, just not right on the capsule to avoid marks. But even pieces of lint can leave marks or tiny scratches over time. This happens easily with all the black lint that gathers from the clamshell case to the static plastic capsule, especially on the Queen side...

Finally got my butterfly from the local PO!! Really like this coin and placed it in a glass in a china cabinet. Not sure, but does anyone know if the coin is out of its case and is exposed to the light for a long period of time, could it tarnish? I took a pic of it, but it's kind of grainy. Not sure how to insert a pic here...

Seems like the batch of the orders placed on the Canadian Coins and Currency (public release, midnight) has been shipped today. I saw the people on the RFD forum report about shipment notification. Mine also shipped today, order #588*

Received notice this morning from the RCM that my two glass butterfly coins I ordered have been shipped. These were ordered in the first minute or two of regular MC member release on the website.

Order the day before MC release but nothing for me yet. Guess I'll be waiting 5-6 months for a glass bug again this year.
