Yes, both of those should be out in circulation. Reason that The Royal Mint web site does not show any numbers for these coins is that none of the 2011 5 pence or 10 pence were released in 2011, they were first released in 2012. Hopefully they will update their web site and we will know what was released in 2012.

The only circulation coin from 2011 I'm waiting for is a standard 50p, which I don't think were produced for circulation.

After ages searching I finally found one today in the change ,nice and shiny too . I have to say these new steel 5p and 10p coins look quite appealing when they are fresh and shiny ....

So far for 2013 I've only seen the London underground £2 coin and a few 10p, is there much else out there yet?

At least you have found a few ! I havent seen anything from 2013 so far . Most people so far mention finding the 2013 10p coins I suspect this year they minted a tonne of them , last year they there was a very low mintage of 10p coins...

I've had several 2011 10p's and two 5p's - but the 2012 5p's are incredibly common!

Yeah, there boat loads of 2012 5p coins ! 2011 was a very low mintage for 5p coins , thats why I am so excited to get them. I have only come across one 2011 10p. I suspect they will get harder to find in the future due to their low numbers .......

I know it's cheating, but I needed some change for the works coffee machine, so I popped into my local post office and got a £5 bag of 5p, and a £5 bag of 10p...in the 10p bag I got 3 2011 and 5 more 2013. In the 5p bag 20% of them were 2012, no 2013s, but 2 more 2011...a good haul methinks...

Steve - I wouldn't say that's cheating - they are all unsearched coins from actual circulation. I've still only had the one 2013 10p so far...
