Thanks for the demo cookiecutter! This coin looks very cool and I'm glad you were able to obtain it on time. I ordered one as a gift for my wife, but given the mint's delay, there's no telling when it will arrive. At least now, I know it will be worth the wait.  |

Just curious if anyone other than dealers has received this directly from the Mint yet? (It looks as though everyone here who *has* received it got it from a dealer--please correct/update me if I'm mistaken.) The Mint still has "July" listed as the shipping delay date on its website.

Oh! I got an email from the Mint. It's a little confusing--it only says the dragonfly is "processing". However, I just checked my credit card and there is a pending charge from the Mint on it for 85.55, which is exactly what $79.95 (cost of the dragonfly) + 7% PST would equal. So maybe it's about to ship, or even in transit. I can hope!

Much to my surprise the Dragonfly arrived today! This coin is definitely a winner. The water background hologram is very well done and keeps your attention turning and viewing it from different angles. This coin has to be seen in the hand to appreciate it's beauty. I'm sure my wife is going to like this extra birthday gift. But Shhhh! Please don't give away my secret. P.S. I forgot to mention this one came from a dealer not the RCM. |

For the non-dealers who received their coin from the mint, may I ask when you placed your order? I placed mine on March 5. I'm hoping I won't have to wait until July

Placed my order with RCM for the Twelve-Spotted Skimmer on February 27 and it shipped April 30th.

Order Feb 26th - nothing shipped. Though the skimmer might be delayed because I ordered a few other things on the same order - all of which I saw yesterday at the local Post Office - sometimes I wonder why I waste my time buying directly from the RCM. |
