Hey guys,

Got a $100 star note the other day and it's my last $100 cash right now, was gonna break it figuring it wasn't worth anything (circulation $100 star note with no cool serial #)

For kicks I looked up star notes only to find that 2001 B series $100 star notes only printed 320,000 of them making them limited.

2001 $100 star note
Serial : CB 00171422*

A picture would help with condition, but from the auctions results I looked at a 66ppq sold at Heritage for $500 in 2011.

Condition is not mint. It is not beat up by no means, but it does have a crease in the center

I think if I am lucky i'd get +$20 premium, does that seem correct? I havn't seen samples go any time recent but I cant imagine these command a huge premium nowadays, right?

That seems correct after more research. I would go ahead and spend it.

I'd have to agree, it is a spender, not really worth all the trouble and effort to sell it on ebay and earn a few bucks.
