VF-35 or XF-40. The wear of the hair above the eye and at the top of the eagle's wings make me lean more towards VF-35, but regardless, it's a very nice-looking coin.

Looks VF-20 to me overall, with the obverse just a tad stronger. Strange in that the reverse is almost always the stronger side. Nice coin!

Look at the cap details and the hair details around the face, because this coin could edge into EF40. The pic is grainy so I can't be 100%.

At least a VF-30. Nice piece, I love the Capped Bust series. ~Jim

Sorry, but I see a little too much wear for a VF grade, though it's close. I'd call it F15. The eagle's head, wings, and talons show some pretty significant wear. Very nice coin!

Susan, too much detail for an F-12 according to the photograde book. It has a complete liberty, cap details, hair details. I just don't see it as low as F-12, but I have been wrong before. I wouldn't go lower than VF30.

Thanks all for your opinions so far. Based on what you say, I think the seller was fair in his assessment and pricing.
