Hi Guys, Got this Crispus Coin, reverse with camp gates, PROVIDENTIAE CAESS and mint mark for Italy (SMR) - I think... If it is, what is the other mark next to it for?

SMK gamma. From the Cyzicus mint. The gamma is a officina or workshop number of the mint.

Yes gamma mark, but I believe it's from the Cyzicus mint SMKgamma

It stands for the 3rd officinae of the Cyzicus mint.

Yeup - its the greek letter gamma! Thats a nice coin by the way. I'm trying to collect eastern mint camp gates (well, I have 2) and this one is in the right time frame for me! The tip is the thin doorways. These fade in and fade out.

By the way, I believe you have a Cyzicus coin (SMKG) - Firstly, it looks like a K (the eastern mints had a nack of making ambiguous letter punches) and secondly, crispus didnt mint any coins with the SMR mint mark! Another nail in the coffin is that this coin features details I associate with easterly camp gates.
