http://www.bankofcanada.ca/2013/04/...-bank-notes/"Members of the media will also have an opportunity to meet with representatives from the Bank of Canada, VIA Rail Canada and the Canadian Space Agency to learn more about the themes, as well as the security and durability features, of the new bills." I guess that's a hint as to the design. Anyone have pics of the new bills yet?

, after 100 years, another train note, but shouldn't it be on the $5 instead of the $10? Oh well at least I can afford one of these.

Is this the same focus group that thought a Canadian lady on the $100 bill looked too Asian? What does that even mean anyways?

Looking forward to this release to complete the polymer frontier collection.
I was thinking this will be the last of the changes for awhile unless there is a new sovereign in the near future that may call for updating the twenty.

From what's hear the 10$ bill seems to be as good looking asthefifty Too bad we won't be able to see the man on the toilet trick on the ten, And the man in the turban on the five

Looks like Sir Wilf got a haircut.
And the railway on Sir John A's $10 is fitting.

I will miss the hockey game $5 note... but I do LOVE the $10 train note, with the Front Range Rocky mountains in the background...

Completely agree SPP. The ten looks great but I prefer the 'old' five too.
I like the nose of the train positioned opposite the equally predominant nose of Sir JAM.

I don't like the faces on them. They look like a bad Photoshop job. But the images look great. I definitely want one in mint condition.

I've always been pretty into astronomy and the space sciences so I love the new $5... but all the stars are just the same image repeated... I can't unsee that now...
And the train note's spectacular. I might actually have to buy a nice set of polymers one day.
