capsnhawks Valued Member United States 134 Posts	Posted 07/03/2013 09:42 am Before giving up on this S&B offer and paying for an ANA membership, I would suggest giving both of them a call at: S&B at 800-458-4646, and/or ANA Membership at 800-514-2646, to check on the status of your application. Since S&B's ANA membership offer ended on June 30, S&B probably waited until that date to send the balance of the apps over to ANA. This is only my guess, based on my gut feeling in light of all the conflicting information S&B provided me during my previous two phone conversations with them. Report this Post to the Staff

capsnhawks Valued Member United States 134 Posts	Posted 07/11/2013 08:48 am I called ANA's Membership line (1-800-514-2646) yesterday to inquire as to whether they ever received my membership application from Stacks and Bowers. I was told they did receive it and that I was entered in their membership data base on July 5. I asked when I might expect to receive my membership package in the mail and was told in about two weeks. The gentleman then offered to tell me my membership number and that if I used the number as my password, along with my email address as my user name, I could log into the 'Members Only' area on the ANA website at http://www.money.org. Well, bingo, I did, and I'm in. I started reading the latest issue of the The Numismatist yesterday. So, if you haven't received your membership package yet, just give them a call, get your membership number, and put an end to the waiting game. Report this Post to the Staff

I am however getting telemarketing calls from aggressive dealers I have never heard of. Not saying that the ANA or Stacks Bowers sold my data but the timing is of interest.
