commems CCF Master Historian of USA Commemoratives United States 12313 Posts	Posted 04/29/2013 8:04 pm Haven't seen any images posted of the new Five Star Generals silver dollar, so I thought I'd post a couple of the Uncirculated version. As has been typical for the US Mint's silver dollars the past five or so years, the coin exhibits noticeably heavy, satiny "frost." The finish is definitely different from earlier silver dollar commemoratives issued by the USM. I don't have an example of the Proof version of the coin, maybe Muddler or one of the other CCF'ers who collect the modern series in proof can offer up some images for comparison.
