Yes...it is MD. I'm suprised you have found only one in 3 months. What do you use for magnification?

For these shots, my JVC digital camcorder at 3x optical. It has a decent macro feature that gets me within 1-2 inches of the subject.

As for MDs, I found two so far, but I only went through 1 brick in these past 3 months.

Question: what is the brick/per-month rate for some of you guys?
Rest in Peace

Keep looking. The real DDO & DDR coins are out there. Also mad, oc, rpm, omm, WAM and a host of others to seek. Happy hunting!

I cut way back from what I used to look through.I now go through three boxes of cents per month and have looked through about 1.3 million cents since I started this hobby in 1971.

Jay- I use a 16X wide-angle Erfle eyepiece(from an old telescope)for a quick 30-second glance. The fov just about covers the entire penny.
If I spot something peculiar then I check it out with a 28X eyepiece(from an old security camera).
