Yeah, and as usual the seller is pleading ignorance which allows them to sell a piece of junk while alleviating any responsibility they have for the listing.

Another common tactic is where the seller claims they inherited the coin but don't know anything about it, when in fact they know perfectly well what it is.

The ebay seller probably has an 8 page email / letter from Westair stating there is absolutely no R on this "coin"

Even on those ebay pictures, you can clearly see the "WRL" counterstamp to the left of the king's neck.

Here's one that cropped up here on the forum..
