http://www.ebay.com/csc/heyrick911/...lete=1&rt=nc Saw that coin and would like to get any feedback you guys can provide. It is not in the Charlton Standard Catalogue 2013. It is not a bullion, cause it has a tulip mark, but what is it then ? Is it a Commemorative coin ? Was it issues by the Mint ? That coin simply caught my attention somehow

It's a silver maple leaf with privy mark. Listed in Charlton 2013 on page 371. Mintage was 3500 and I believe it was only issued in Europe. Edit to add (this is from colonial acres site): The Royal Dutch Mint commissioned a 2005 Canada Silver Maple Leaf Coin with a tulip privy mark from the Royal Canadian Mint. These privy Maple Leafs mark the 60th Anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands by Canadian forces at the end of the Second World War. The mintage was set at 3,500 (lowest of any Silver Maple Leaf) and the reverse of the coin shows the standard Maple Leaf, a dutch tulip, a Dutch Mint Master Mark, and the word Vrijheid' with the date 5 - 5 - 45 (Vrijheid is dutch for "Freedom"). This is the first triple privy mark coin created by the RC Mint. Specifications: Face Value: 5 dollars Mintage: 3,500 Composition: 99.99% silver Weight (g): 31.39 Diameter (mm): 38 Edge: Reeded

Hmm. It went up in price since I last checked on it. I purchased two of these for 125 each incl ship late last year. Rarest mintage privy. But apparently, the Hannover one is lower then listed mintage due to melting.

The Hanover Expo was the most expensive one for me at $133 total. I paid $113 for this one a bit over a year ago.

The Liberation privy maple has been on my short list for along time. My dads uncle spent some time over there and I did some peace keeping myself. It's funny how these things can help you connect with the past. I've got the D-Day Maple and once I get the Dutch Tulip I'll be set as far as privy mark maples go.

It's kind of nuts but that is the best price I've seen. Thanks Amaths. Five silver maples (just the silver) or one with cool history. It's too hard I want it all. Okay I'm done, thanks to everyone in the community tonight for helping me get through back up nite at work. cheers Liverpool
