I guess we can assume the dream catcher to be some type of hologram? Maybe something similar to the dragonfly? So far, I am only liking the dino coin. It is one of the cheapest 1oz coins in recent release at $90 and with the mintage of 8500.

Thank you canadiancoins1999. It's a big release this month..I'm glad to see those coins early, so I will be able to make a better choice. Unfortunatly, there's not much (IMO) that will be a big hit!

I was a little surprised to see that the Louisbourg 300th Anniversary silver commemorative was a $20 coin - I thought it might be issued as a Special Edition silver dollar. From the images provided by CanadianCoins1999, it looks like the coin will be another "multiple finishes" release like the recent Seven Years War silver dollar. I'm looking forward to seeing more images of it next week on the RCM web site.

That is one that is going to hurt me. Don't see how I don't pick it up. And you're right, surprised it's not a sp. ed. dollar.

Thanks for posting Canadiancoins1999.
Not too many that I'm interested in, though the dreamcatcher looks interesting. I almost wish they had used the Martin Short coin image for the O'Canada series summer coin. It seems nicer on the eyes than the cottage scene they used for the series

I'm collecting coin for about a year now, and I have made a lot of looking around on many reseller website. About the edge lettering on Louisbourg 300th Anniversary silver. It's only the second time (first time on last month bald eagle)that I have seen it on RCM coin. Is it a new process for RCM or is there some other coins like that?

The RCM has used edge lettering before on a few "collector" coins: - Calgary Olympic Winter Games $20 series (1985-1988) - Calgary Olympic Winter Games $100 gold (1987) - 10th Anniversary Silver Maple Leaf $50 (1998) - Great Canadian Locomotives $20 series (2008-2010) Plus the new circulating $2 coin.

The only coin that looks appealing to me is the Louisberg ( decent price compared to mintage and FV )
And the 2013 proof set, since I have the 2012 lol.

I like the bear cubs & that Maple Leaf coin with the little Maple leafs (not sure about the pendant idea though since it could damage the coin?).. Then there is the new Dino and the wolf... Sheeshh.. RCM is driving me into a hunger strike in protest of producing too many coins during vacation time! Or I'll just live on bananas, watermelons & coconuts until September so I can afford some of these!
