After a recent "stocktake" I found that I am missing only one commemorative $1 coin.

It's the 2005 Gallipoli dollar "G" mint mark from the mobile press at the War Memorial. It is identified by having a softer strike that that made at the RAM.

I have watched ebay for a long time, contacted coin dealers etc but no luck.

Any other suggestions or ideas...?

Cheers

Simon

Hang on, let me check. Yep I did pay $10 but that was part of a special deal worth $500 in total. The one on ebay looks good, I can recommend that seller. I wouldn't pay $75 that's too much. Keep checking ebay and be patient

Try http://www.ebay.com/itm/Australia-1...em19d1aeea5f
about the right price, make sure you Remove it from holder and put in flip, as I had a few damaged in RAM holders. Use a couple of toothpicks to open.

I ordered the coin from the Prospect Coins website. It says was struck at the War Memorial which is the coin I have been looking for.

See how we go when it arrives.

Thanks for the help.

The RAM packaging on the $1 folding type holders do come unglued, allowing movement/sticking to coin and uneven toning . Use 2x2 flip and keep folders flat and seperate.
