Oh yes, that is nice. I've checked over a lot of '98's and not seen one like that.

I was searching 1997 & 1998 cents back in the day. MY findings on this doubling was that there were minor and Major doubling 1998 and I only could find minor doubling in 1997.

Thanks for the input, don. I've got a minor 1998 and it's nice to know that there are a couple more similar varieties to keep an eye out for. I have a bit of a stash of pennies that I've yet to finish searching through so I've still got a chance to find one.

Hi Copperdog

A lot of 1999 error varieties, eh? Sounds very nice. I would love to have a list of your 1990's and 2000's errors, if you have one and don't mind sharing it. I myself have a large number of varieties/errors from the '30's to the '70's, but am now getting deeper into the 1980's and onwards. To know of certain errors as I search my stash can make it easier for differences to jump out as I'm looking. If you have a list but don't wish to take up a whack of room here, you can email me when you hit 50 posts. Maybe we can swap some info.

Hello pennysaver . I would have no problem making up a list of what I have for errors of the 90's and 2000's . I should have 50 posts by then . Most of my errors are in binders all in order so it should by pretty easy for me to make a list . I only started collecting varieties/errors about a year ago so my education is learned from this forum and other web sites I visit . Just like with all new found hobbies " I wish I had started years ago "
