so I'm going to get the banknote one though I don't really like it. I do collect banknotes though and I'm hoping the series looks better in future releases.
I'm going to get the korea coin for the donation factor.
the duck because I already have a sub.
and the 20 for 20.

I'm glad that they lowered the mintage of the '20 for 20' (to 225,000). But I wish they'd never raised it in the first place. There's no consistency. Would have been much better long term if they were all 200,000.
I also like the idea of a coin series based on banknotes but I really don't like the design of this first one. Gonna pass for now.

The only one with a reported mintage of more than 200k was the first. Despite supposedly being limited to 200k, the annual report shows actual mintage of 244k. All the others had an expected mintage of 250k but none actually sold that many. Note it is possible that the 2012 coin numbers could go up from sales completed in 2013 but not yet officially reported.

Surprising to see the queen's coin sold more than the polar bear. I would trade all my queen;s for that bear lol. The design is so much better.

Definitely getting the bank note and the 20 for 20 one. I wish the bank note came in a subscription with maybe a box that looked like a bank note. That would be nice.

so the more I think about it, the more excited I am for this banknote coin despite me being disappointed with the first one. This is a series that can last a real long time and there have been some real cool notes out there. It will be interesting to see where it goes.
I only wish that they did 1oz bars "wafers" as those would be stellar.
a banknote collection is pretty awesome though.

They could do a lot for this series. If they did every type of bank note there was that would be very great!

All the others had an expected mintage of 250k but none actually sold that many. Wow, I had no idea. There are 2 things that confuse me about those numbers... 1) Didn't a bunch of the coins sell out? How then did they sell less than 250,000? and 2) How can they sell 244,000 of the first coin when the original mintage was stated as 200,000? A lot of people take the mintage into consideration when deciding whether to purchase a coin. If the mint can just raise the mintage to whatever they want, that just further screws the collector.
