I seen many die chips and cracks but nothing like this one.
Are those Die chips?

Die chips... which is the resulting outcome of a cracked die if it continues.

Coinaki...thanks..I figured Die chips.The once I had before were usually just a blob.But haven't seen them shaped like that before.

No doubt it's a good size one.
Imo, if a chip can be seen with the unaided eye, it can be a keeper. But I am just a newbie also.

Oh..I sold a huge one on ebay a while back and have a other pretty big one on there for sale now ,but none had that long tail.

That would have stuck out to me to....however I don't collect/sell die chips...cracks...maybe I should start...I recently saw a interior die crack that went through the Motto on the reverse...Started at the "A" in America...went through the S in the motto and to the Memorial....its back in the wild...look for it :)

Jayman....I don't sell the little once.Only the oversized ,the once you can see with the naked eye.There are many on ebay that are really tiny.Some poeple do collect them.

There were very common in the 1960's cents. We used to use them for markers, until we realized they happened so often on the 11th & 12th columns. So we searched for other markers to ID die numbers.
