Hmm. Puzzling. Fills the coin. Unusual toga/dress style. Priestly pose. Not sure what the object being carried is-- a branch? crude representation of Palladium or Victory? Wrong direction of the pointy part for a harpa.
Not even sure of gender but think it's a man-- looks like a beard. But what's that bun at the back of the head?
No idea what time period or geographic area this is.
So to sum up, no idea.

The Pose is called a benediction gesture. The Head is nimbate (has a halo). The Goddess is a female, and is often represented throughout history as a lion. Maybe this might help narrow it down. The coin is made in the Hellenistic style but is not Greek.

Any luck over here? Did everyone give up? I see this forum is heavy on the Roman Guys, but we only have a few of us who like the Kushan!

I really like how the Kanishka's engravers were able to execute a transparent silk dress and veil for Nana. Funny but true I asked my son what coin should I post and he, said "Nana".
