Since it's on TV they know people will come in there anyway so they jack up all their prices.

It was fun to go to the store, however. And yes, you can pick up a melt Morgan or Peace for $40 or $45, makes a nice souvenir.

That's exactly what I did when I went with my now ex-girlfriend last year. She bought some really expensive something or other and I got a Morgan dollar and put it in a capsule, then framed it with my receipt as a souvenir. It's one of the bigger conversation pieces in my collection now, oddly.

Celtic Knot -- that definitely is out of this world but then whenever I pulled 40% Halves out of bank rolls I used to cash them in at a pawn shop for 90% because the owner would pay me 10c OVER MELT. Now why would he do that especially at a time where most people paid 5 to 10c back of melt? Answer he was able to sell them for 30 to 40c over melt.
