Just found this coin, I have never found one like it before. Is it a
rare find, or are they out there?

I don't think they are too scarce. I stopped gathering these "beaver dot" 2000 nickels once I obtained a full roll of 40 to stash away. Maybe we are just lucky.....lets hope. They can be found on most dates from 1992 to 2001.
Most times these die chip coins don't get any recognition anyway.
