Well my dad surprised me with this one....Thought this strike was pretty darn good for a new orleans coin. My first non CC GSA morgan....what would you grade it?

Nice. If you can verify that the scrape on the cheek is less prominent than it seems (this is the kind of thing that gets over-enhanced by digital photography), I could go MS64 on it. These aren't awfully common in GSA holders, and carry a decent premium.

@SsuperDdave The mark is a bit more prominent in the pictures...but I can't say it's not noticeable in hand.

MS64 then the scrape probably is more noticable in the photo due to lighting, it doesn't look like it is deep just a surface scuff. Nice GSA!

I am going to go MS-63+ for now depending on how distracting the scrape is in person. If it's not too bad, it could grade MS-64. Nice coin!
