Does anyone know how to find out who left you a low rating on ebay. I just had a buyer leave me a 1 star for shipping charge for charging exactly what the listing stated and sending it exactly how the listing stated. Theres only 3 buyers it could be because of the timing and I'm pretty sure I know who it is but cant say 100 percent it wasnt one of the other two. The biggest problem is who I think it is bought something else and if he does it again bye bye power seller discount. I guess then it would be easy to figure out but with the new report requirements needing 10 feedback in the report to show the ratings I cant think of an easy way to narrow it down Edited by basebal21

Not sure you can find out who did it. The problem is you will always run into jerks that will do that to you just for the fun of it. I think ebay's feedback and rating system has become a joke. |

I agree aspects of it are a joke. The tracking even shows it was sent in a priority flat rate which is exactly the price that was charged yet somehow he can leave a 1 for price.

Take a look at the feedback left by who ever you think it might be. That might give give you a clue. Usually those that leave all pos feedback for everyone most likely would not burn you.

ebay has gone back and "fixed" low ratings like this on my account a few times. They are watching to see things out of the ordinary. If it just recently happened, watch and see if ebay takes care of it.

I usually check it after I get a new feedback because I did have this happen to me last year as well, but I didnt get a chance to check before I got 3 feedbacks so I've got it narrowed down to three possible. None had negative comments but the one I think it is leaves kind of lazy feedback for everyone. Theyve already bought something else from me though so I dont get why you would do that if your going to leave a 1. I guess well find out if they leave feedback on the other item and another shows up

Seal it just happened within the last couple days and I'm 99% sure it was today. Should I bother contacting them or just hope that they do it? The worst part was I dont even use the enter your own shipping prices I just use the default ones ebay has set themselves |

ebay contacted me each time with a message that they went and changed it for me.

it could have been a mistake some people leave feedback in a hurry if they are buying a bunch of things !!

I honestly wouldnt care if it couldnt potentially take away my discount.
Seal thanks for the info.
Sean I guess it could have been anythings possible, just doesn't make much sense to me.

What good does it do to find out who left you a low rating? The only thing I can think of is to block them? I offer free shipping so they cant burn me that way. Yes the discount is the only reason to care abought dsr.

I guess you have to know who did it to block them. Me I would block all 3 of the buyers if you cant figure who left it. The buyers I block didn't pay or retracted bids.
