I have been actively trying to find something out about this item and have not been able to find anything that even looks like it. Any help would gladly be appreciated. I've been told it was a watch fob, but cannot find another watch fob that looks like it.

I just spent a few minutes on google and may have found a partial match.

At one point 1997-ish they released a 31 CD-ROM collection of all 110 years of the magazine. Some of the pictures show a wooden box with that medallion or a very similar one set in the center.

There's some variation as some are listed as 109 year set, 110 year set, 112 year set, etc.

There are multiple available on ebay right now.

Does your medal have anything on the edges or on the reverse?

Hope this helps,
