I acquired this beauty a few weeks ago. It is now the highest graded banknote in my collection. Edited by twoplustwo 07/05/2013 10:21 pm

Hi twoplustwo,
I don't get my notes graded but I'd like to see another one of yours. Do you have anything rare?

I have a few notes in my collection that I really like, but I don't grade mine as well.

Easiest way is to signup at http://imageshack.us/ for a free account, then upload pictures to your imageshack account. Once the pics are uploaded, imageshack will provide you with links to your hosted pictures which you can then link to here by inserting them into your forum posts via the "insert image" button when you reply to or create posts.

I've got a stack of $1 notes in nearly perfect condition that I'm thinking of getting graded. Have no idea the cost or whether the value would make it worth the cost.

That's pretty good guidance. Thanks.
From what I can tell, they're not the rarest varieties. They're sequential, but no rare signatories or devil's head or anything.

Quote: That's pretty good guidance. Thanks. You're welcome. In addition, there's no real reason for third party grading unless you plan on selling your banknotes, other than maybe curiosity, or as a learning experience. 90% of the graded notes that I own were already graded when purchased. I like to know what I'm buying (especially from ebay) and I'll pay more for that knowledge. It doesn't take much to turn what appears to be an UNC note into an AU note.
