Admins: I hope that I'm not breaking any rules here (don't think that I am, but forgive me and delete the post if I am).
Hey all, I was able to get 3 boxes of pennies from the bank the other day. I don't look for minor varieties or minor errors (I don't have the time or patience for it). I have searched the boxes for KGVI or earlier, Major varieties such as 1965 LBP5, 2006 MAG, etc., and errors obvious to the naked eye (you probably won't find anything of great monetary value).
However, for any variety or copper collectors there could be a lot to add to your collection. I'm not looking at making any profit from these but would like to pass them onto someone who would appreciate them for what they are......semi-searched boxes. I am in Mississauga Ontario, and would happily give them to anybody willing to pick them up for face value.

Or do the staff take them home themselves? How many bank people collect I wonder?

I asked nicely and they were happy to get rid of them. I guess that they make it a hassle to send them back.I'm going to try another bank this weekend, and see if I have any luck.

I have been spending my non-copper 1 cent coins since January 10 cents at a time at Tims. Got 1/2 a jar left and then I am done.

April was the last month I could get any pennies from the banks around here, and I've tried every branch.

I already have had a member contact me about these. If for some reason they are not able to pick them up I will post that they are still available.
