I would be grateful for ANY information anyone could supply about this coin/medal. I can't read the language that is on it. When I look at the Arabic alphanumeric numbers it looks like one part can be translated to 1222 but I can't be for sure.....Any info?

I was "forced" to learn to identify Ottoman coins few years ago, during a research of my own. Research that ended only with the help of the great experts of this forum.

Well I certainly am impressed and can only reiterate "Thank You". I blindly purchased the coin without knowing what it was or what it's worth...I simply thought it looked unique and impressive. I still don't know what it's worth but I don't that's not what I purchased it for. Without your input I would have searched for a substantial period of time...Thanks again!!....I really appreciate it.
