I posted this a few weeks ago but my scans were not very good. Here is another attempt. I found this coin in a collection I recently bought and have had no luck identifying it. Could someone please tell any info they might have on it? Age, country, value, denomination? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chuck

Thanks for the updated pics! Definitely some civic coinage of the city of Ghent. Legend in the second pic is FRVSTRA NISI DNS ("if The Lord is not with us, all is in vain"). More to come.

So, a 12 mijten (XII MYTEN) piece, of Ghent, Flanders:

The last two digits of the date (1500's) should be just below the rampant lion; a little hard to make out on yours.
This example has different arms; looks like yours do read SPQG, or senatus populus que Gandensis, the Senate and People of Ghent.
