Silvertowne has the second bald eagle coin available now as well. It is free shipping if you live in the U.S. - not sure what they charge to send to Canada.

Received my 1/2 oz O Canada Caribou coin today. It is the best looking coin in the series so far!! I LOVE IT!     (Not sure why I am so excited, must be bored by the recent mediocre releases from the Mint) |

i know this isn't news to anyone here but month in and month out I'm constantly disappointed that people here post pics of their orders in hand while mine on the site says 'processing' meanwhile I'm a MC member and I purchase on the first day available.
unreal. I'd love to know how they prioritize shipping.

Pretty much none of my **July** coins got shipped yet, the only one I got is the silver wood duck coin (part of subscription).... And when I asked my rep why and asked if he can speed things up, he sounded indifference and said some coins are backordered and they will be shipped when then are available. Not helpful at all.

We must have the same rep. He's very responsive when I want to BUY but questions about SHIPPING go nowhere.
That said, I'm only waiting for current orders plus the 50 cent roll from February but that is because I buy items for which I don't fear quick sell outs from a dealer at a discount.

Im still waiting for the 50c butterfly coin....Was just sent an email that its backordered. thinking about cancelling and just picking one up at ANY CP or canadian coin and currency... this is stupid.

@Lostwords: Thanks for the picture of the new Canopy coin. It appears to have a nicer overall look in hand than it does on the RCM web site, but - to my eyes - still doesn't have the same visual impact as the first coin. I'm not a buyer of this series, but I can certainly empathize with those who are disappointed in the very different style of the second coin. Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! I got a e-mail saying the maple canopy (fall) will be delayed.....so I just cancelled and wend down to the PO and grabbed it. I also grabbed the scary 1/2 oz horse coin and I really like it. I'm not even going to order stuff off the site anymore I'm just going to go to the PO and get it.....its the same price and I don't have to wait 3 months...

 I was wondering If I should just cancel my orders as well and head to the post office. I always order things before release day and they always seem to put me on back order. |
