My local coin coin shop has most of the new releases. Including the double eagle coin. Aside from the Mint, we have the option of getting new coins from the Post Office, Mint Boutiques, and local coin shops.

Why even bother getting from the Mint if we have to wait so long for the coins.

Plus I wonder if Master Club membership is really worth it since most of the coin releases for the past three months have not sold out.

Probably this isn't "fresh new", and not realy August RCM release, but this was revealed in August and could be nice for some of you that collects sets:

Canada 2013 6-Coin ANA Chicago Coin Show Special Edition Proof-Like Uncirculated Mint Set with Chicago Skyline Mint Medallion L8

Talisman Coins sells it for $39.95, and here the URL:

Thanks for finding this, I just came back from a Chicago vacation. Does anyone know any other places that sell this coin? Tailsman charges $15 for shipping, don't really want to pay that for a $40 set.

1/2 oz Caribou arrived last week and it's one of the nicest in that set.

The 1 oz Caribous came today at it is equally well done.

The same thing happened to me...and I have to agree with CC 100%.

These coins are quite detailed and very attractive. Thumbs up!

I just received the Caribou 1/2oz on Friday. This is the 6th or 7th coins right (I'm loosing count w/ all the delays and constant release)?
We are expected to receive the box with the 8th coin right?

I also lost the count, but if I remember correctly - this is the 8-th coin (The Caribou), and the box we were suppose to receive with the 7-th coin (Niagara Falls), which shipment is delayed (according to RCM story) for most of us.

@Lostwords:

IMO, you, like majority of us, will get the 8-th and 9-th coin, prior the 7-th (Niagara) in the box.
My hope was, that the RCM will send 7-th and 8-th together with the box, but this didn't happen.

Like people say earlier, after experiencing unexplainable delay with 1914 $5 HS coin, I do not worry.

Silveroid, I find your hope and confidence very reassuring...

Now here's an idea for a future RCM coin:

Anyone waiting for the 2nd Maple Canopy?

I have an order with a dealer that is 3 weeks old and I assume it's because of the Maple being delayed. There don't seem to be a lot of actual photos of that coin out there (on ebay etc).

CC&C show inventory status has it as 'out of stock' but available for order. Gatewest show it as 'backordered'. Makes me think the coin is delayed by RCM. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

Can only forward the phrases that I've been told about August release, when I ordered 2 coins from September:

Maple Canopy (Autumn) delayed till mid September (and my Zodiac Lotus Horse will be shipped together with Canopy) - these the words by Sales Rep.
