The only non-magnetic ones are the copper ones from proof sets.

PS the question changed from what was originally asked,so I'm responding to the new question.

This site, at the very bottom of the page states that this penny is "100% copper" I guess? no steel or zinc which the sets usually state

so can you confirm that they exist

To my knowledge there are no non-magnetic circulation 2008 pennies. Or NBU. And I spent a long time looking! The 3 links you provide all point to the 100% copper proof coin. To me, that doesn't count.

I paid 38.71 on ebay three months ago. There was a spot in my album for one so I went for it.

I was going to suggest just buying a 2008 proof set and cracking the cent out but those sets are kinda pricey. Is that because of the copper cent I wonder?

Yeah - if I could have found the 2008 set for $38.71 I would have done that.

As I recall you need to buy the Quebec proof set. It also has a desirable dollar in it so it is expensive.

Yes the Quebec set has the non magnetic penny. Typically seems to go for around $100 on ebay. Not a bad purchase in my opinion
