Dec now and still haven't found a 2013 toonie... or Secord unfrosted quarter. I have 2 of my banks watching for the and they haven't even seen one yet. All the other 2013 coinage I found by mid summer. Still on the hunt. Don't want to buy them either. 2014 around the corner....looks like I will be playing catch up at some point.

I think all 2013 coins are decidedly scarce. I like to put together a roll of each coin but so far not much luck since only 1 in 5 are worth keeping.

I have all 2013 circulating coins except the toonie... I was able to make a full roll of nickels though.

For some reason I have found the dime the hardest to find - only found two.

Even having the complete set from the nickel to the twonie, (thanks to some friends in Edmonton), it still looks incomplete without the cent! I can only imagine sets of the future as they discontinue each coin from our monetary system. Actually, I don't WANT to imsagine a coinless society!

I posted this a few days ago in the Commemoratives and Non-Circulating Coinage (NCLT) form. Sadly the sale is past but Sears.ca had the Holiday gift card for around $9.00. It had the normal toonie, loonie, dime and nickel, the quarter was different, just for the holiday card, something like this will get you BU and not have to deal with ebay premiums.
hope this helps (normal price is around $20)

I got my first 2013 dime and Twoonie 2 weeks ago. I'm 3 hrs west of Edmonton. I was very stoked, as I don't get much change when I go shopping. Both coins look very fresh and new. I haven't had the time to put them under my scope.

I'm new to this forum, and maybe I take our mint here in Winnipeg for granted. When ever I've gone to the boutique in the mint to buy something, you always receive uncirculated coins for change. I was buying 2013 quarters, dimes and nickels there last month and was receiving 2013 toonies from there in change.
Can you not order rolls of coins from the boutique and have them shipped to you?

I just received my first brand new 2013 townie in change today. The rim is waffled where the two dollars and maple leaves are stamped on the rim edge. Is this normal and within the mint tolerances?
