Had a quick look at that dealers stock. Everything poorly graded with coins that most of us would grade as aF to gF (at best) being listed as aVF (with no diamond?) . And APCGS sounds like it is the local branch of PCGS. Blatantly misleading. Change APCGS to ARCGS. (with the R being Rubbish)

Well folks, you needn't bother trying to convince the OP not to use APCGS, in spite of our warnings. As some of us suspected, we've come to the conclusion he is, indeed, an alt-ID of a previously banned spammer and has therefore been vacationized.

A Shane got a century for Australia last night. I wonder if he's involved with APCGS.

I just saw a 1919 Canada One Cent graded MS64 by APCGS on ebay and thought where did this mob come from? Coin is overgraded, seller is investego... This thread was good for some laughs, thanks everyone! I haven't been to Port Macquarie in a few years but the last time I was there I did duck into a little coin shop in one of the CBD arcades, I assume this would be where these APCGS coins are originating from?

That 1919 Canada 1c is supposedly located in Wauchope, just next door to Port Macquarie, so I'd say you could guess the sellers' 'other' ID's.

so much hate ? what ever happened to supporting the new firm ? i mean a bit of competition in the industry never hurts anyone :) as long as this shane guy uses positive selling tactics and refrain from unwanted actions its shud all be good right ?
Or are we all just against change ?

we are only against shady business practices / individuals we are not against change buddy , any one who grades ( TPG ) and sells his own coins can not be trusted to grade fairly and what training has APCGS had in grading to the sheldon scale (zero ) , pcgs uses 2 people to grade and a third grader as arbitrator if the 2 people grading a coin differ
