Here is my prized piece from my collection. Have had this one since I closed down my hobby store 20 years ago. The serial number matched our company name V&R. What is your favourite bill? Lets see some of them

A one and a two....
Lovely piece of currency, thank you for sharing!
Speaking from emotion rather than knowledge, it would take well into five figures to get me to part with it. If at all.

The 1954 $ 2 bill has to be my all time favorite. The way the colour stands out, pinkish on black is amazing.

Any of the 1954's are the ones that do it for me. The beautiful scenery on the back just makes them look rich.

twoplustwo: Now that one is awesome. Love the condition of the bill. Another tough bill.

Both were purchased on ebay about 2 years ago. They were listed together by a seller in New York somewhere as UNC but were not third party graded. Bidding was at like $120 with seconds left, when I placed a bid of like $900 and ended up winning them both for about $150. An incredible pickup.. not sure why the listing didn't generate more interest.

Yes, I love the scenery on these series.
Especially the $1 - because I'm a filthy Albertan at heart.
But I would like to have all the Modified Portrait and Multicolour notes framed on my wall! Of course, the portraits on the back would be displayed, not the heads side (no idea what to call these).
