I was at work a while ago and somebody came in and spent all these at the same time! Needless to say I quickly bought them out of the cash drawer. What is the approximate value of these? Also, is the $10 a devil's face?

Wow, you are lucky! Where do you work? Obviously some place where there are lots of cash registers. I wonder if whoever spent them stole them from grandpa or something.

Hi CC,
While the notes may not be worth much more than face value, they are wonderful keepsakes. I suggest you put them away somewhere safe for awhile as they will become more and more rare as time goes by. FYI, the www.coinsandcanada.com website also has values for banknotes, dependent on the grade.

I'd say you got lucky today!
Cheers.

What a GREAT find!!

I go to 7 banks on almost a weekly basis to see if any interesting notes or coins have popped in.... and it makes me so happy when they have something.....my favourite series is the 70's multicolour series that you have picked a 20 and 5 from....love 'em all! GREAT finds !!

Actually the place I work at is a small store with only one cash. Funny thing is about a week after I got these a friend of mine got a 1979 series $20 from the cash at his work!
