I have received another email about all of the new releases. I'll just quote this about the Superman coins: Quote:

Riddle me this...isn't the question mark the symbol for the another character? Someone at the Mint is seriously confusing his comic books. And just typing mint and comic books in the same sentence makes be both laugh and a little sad.  |

I think the images will not be posted on Mint website because the copyright holder did not allow it.

They will post, with the time. The same was with the RCM Royal Birth coins on the Gatewest site. The coins were offered, but since haven't been officially revealed by RCM, the pictures were hidden with the 'question sign'. I just assuming, that RCM need to wait till the copyright holder will reveal (somewhere, may be on some event) all the Anniversary related products. Logically, it will be more close to RCM's public release. Edited by Silveroid

Why not delay the orders till the picture can be release. This I do not know. But looks like that RCM wants to enter it together with the Pre-MC Release. Just took as example Gatewest, that started to take orders for Royal Birth coins and set, without revealing the pictures. |

I talk with my rep, told me that the image will be available on september 10th, DC Comics condition... But my rep reserve my coins so I'll be able to cancel if I do not like it...

Why are they going with 7 coins? Isn't that overkill? Like the someone mentioned above, that is more than $1200 for all of them.
The Mint would have done better if they issued them as a 3 coin set with a nice wooden box.

I got the same email inviting me to purchase the coins today. I don't think I can purchase them without the pictures. There's just a big ? on the coin's display picture.
I was going to let my son pick out which one he'd want most, but I guess I'll have to wait. Should I be worried about these coins selling out? ( seeing as how kids might want them )
