I was going to let my son pick out which one he'd want most, but I guess I'll have to wait. Should I be worried about these coins selling out? ( seeing as how kids might want them )

Highly unlikely any of these coins will be sold out since all of them except for the gold coin have mintages of 10,000 to 15,000. Even if they sell out, you should be able to find them at post offices and local coin shops at list price.
Remember there are 7 of them to choose from. It would be different if there was only one coin. I doubt too many people will buy all of them.

I won't but any of the super man coins until I see the images of them.

I don't like they keep hidding the images of some recent release coins.

Superman coins on ebay (sure, no images)

While we wait for the pictures, the coins already listed as a pre-sell.

"The Shield", for example, offered for $159.99 (you can not buy more than 3) and $229.99 (only 9 available for this sweet price!)

So what about the rest of the coins from the September release? The only new ones shown on the website are the silly Superman coins.

@ john100, what a great idea! Make a Big Bang Theory coin for each of the cast members. Looks like the RCM would be back to making "Penny" coins. :)

I can see the RCM getting away with making one of these superman coins, but 7 is a lot.
I can only guess what happened was the franchise refused to go in on such a little deal and forced them to sign on to make a whole collection.
But 7 at once is so unbelievable. I'm aware that some people have a lot of money out there, and that the cost will not matter, but is the popularity of the series that big?
I wonder if the RCM had a test group or did some type of marketing research before they gave the green light.

I'm a "regular" MC member & was just at the website-no pics & still only showing the Superman coins. The 2 Superman coins that I clicked on had an ordering limit of 2 each customer & Canadians only. Can't wait to see pics of other offers in this month's release.
