I think your picks were in after the deadline, so your pick for game 5 didn't count.

Thats pretty absurd if thats it. It was an hour late and that game was on saturday anyway, Id still picked 2 days before it.
I would have done the picks sunday night or Monday morning before going out of town but they werent put up until basically tuesday morning when I was already out of town.

It may have been just an hour late, but it was still late. That's the rule. Doesn't matter if the game was Saturday, all picks need to be in before the deadline to be eligible for game 5 and the bonus. The games were posted Monday night at 10pm.

The games were posted Monday night at 10pm. So you can post a day late but we cant post an hour late, that makes sense

I can only post around my schedule, not yours. I've never said games will be posted Sunday night, if I can get them up on Sunday then I will and usually try to do so. If not, then it will be Monday night at the latest. I even said as much on page two concerning the week 2 games. Quote: Games for next weekend should be up late tonight or Monday night at the latest.

Yet you cant give the same respect to anyone else or apply any common sense to the picks. 2 days in advance for the game you penalized isn't early enough? My picks were in the day before the first game and two days before the others. I was out of town for a doctors appointment and put them in when I remembered and got back to the hotel. If you had posted the picks on sunday night I would have had them in then before I left.

whoa, whoa, whoa... it's just a game. Lion4Life spelled out the rules to address this problem (and I was part of the problem last year, as I recall). Lion4Life is hosting this game for fun. His house, his rules.

So last year I refused to pick A&M against Alabama as a victory tax -- If my alma mater won, I wouldn't care about 1 point in this contest, if they lost, I could be consoled by a point in this contest! Well they won last year, and didn't I end up in a tie that I could have avoided if I had picked Texas A&M against Alabama?
Well, this year, the game is 3 points, and I have the same quandary. There is more riding on this game for my Aggies, and in this contest. Guess I gotta pay the victory tax again.
1) Nebraska 2) Ball State 3) Georgia Tech 4) Wisconsin *5) Alabama 75 points

basebal, the rules are clearly stated on page one concerning the pick deadline. If you want to insult me and blame me for your picks, well whatever makes you feel better.

Lion, in the event that (1) you have not compiled a game list and (2) one of us might be forced to go off the grid by life obligations and could miss a deadline you set, would you be willing to make some sort of accommodation as long as we let you know beforehand?
