I don't see anything that doesn't say that this is a squeeze job. I have no idea what you mean by "flowing metal" over GOD.

Look at the G closely. It looks like there is a clear coating over it from the indian. Almost looks as though the metal flowed over it, maybe from heat?

Bent, bulged, whatever. My point is that the rim above Lincoln's head has been significantly deformed by the squeeze job and has obliterated most of IGWT.

You know what this means? Somewhere there is a 1907 Indian that has indentations from a 1911 Lincoln in it. if you could find that one too.. oh man.. How awesome would that be?

Not being sarcastic here, but anyone believing this is a genuine mint error and not Post Mint Damage should consider examining their numismatic interest so they don't get fooled into purchasing fakes.
I think some members here were confused with the mirror image coop posted, and if you look at the 1907 date in his photo, you will notice everything on the 1911 cent is reversed.

In case anyone is still wondering, I agree- there is no way this could be a mint product (other than being an indent from a first strike brockage, from another design that hadn't been produced for years at the mint...)
The signs are classic, this is definitely a vice-job.

Here is one that was squeezed in a vise:  It was sold on ebay. I contacted the sell that is was a fake and he still let it go. |

Thanks coop and everyone. I'm still baffled by the bubbling over the 'G'. I'm wondering how they created that. I have yet to see that effect on any other suspected "vice" or "squeeze jobs".
