Like I just did for the "Superman Gold" coin, here are some stats for the other current "hot" coin (all prices are taken from coin sold on ebay):

Is it still possible to buy this coin at issue price by calling CP on the 1800 number?

The Autumn Bliss is sold at at the 1-800 # (philatelic dept.). The piedfort was available as CP direct ship, but the amount available dropped rapidly last week, so assume it's sold out. Might be worth a call to 1-800 to see if they have any piedfort coins left....

Just received mine from the mint in the mail today, very nice... Bigger then I expected or at least it looks bigger, maybe due to the amount of space taken up by the art work.

The post office over sold. I got a call today from their shipping centre and I'm not getting the two I ordered on Sept 10. I wonder if they typically over sell hot coins. I'm very disappointed! It was my first time ordering through them.

I look at prices sold and wonder, people who sold at $119 did they break even after all the fees and shipping. By my calculations a $100 coin needs to sell for &150 to earn $15. Am I missing something, I've always wondered how non dealers can continually sell at such low prices. $100 4 $100 coins are another. I just don't get it, if selling on ebay . Someone please enlighten me. It doesn't seem worth the risk for $10-&15.

I think some people just don't do their homework. I've seen buy it now for coins that break even or worst, and I'm not talking about coins that can't sell.

Economic emergencies require a loss at times. I do hate to see people sell for a loss.

It depends... even with break even you get the 3% cash back of your CC.

Quote: It depends... even with break even you get the 3% cash back of your CC. Ya assuming you pay it off each month, if not its 5 to 10 percent interest depending on your CC . But then again I am not a reseller so I might be missing something here...

I use my AMEX "charge" card. That way I don't spend what I don't have. It has to be paid off each month and I still get rewards.

What happens if you don't pay it off?

Massive interest, I think like 30%. They also will call you and remind you about your late payment. This happened to me last year. We were away, forgot to set it to automatic payment and they called me 4 days after the due date. Now I've had that card for 20 years and never had a problem so I blasted them for "harassing" me. I spend on average $4000 a month on that card so they're making good money off me.
Bottom line, if you don't pay, they will hunt you down and quick.
