Oh didn't notice it was 2 per "order" , I just assumed it was the same as the mint, but I think 2 is enough for me anyway lol, I don't resell or atleast not yet anyway.

I used to collect stamps years ago and I have a bunch of them stored away but nothing too valuable that I am aware of , then again its been 20 years since I last looked through them lol, you never know, but I just wanted the stamps to go with the super man coins etc, that's all the stamp collecting that I will be doing . I hope....

I have a pretty much complete stamp collection from Province of Canada days (with the exception of some of the rarer high $ Victoria Jubilee ones) through 1981. Like the RCM the explosion of issues each year by Canada Post makes it near impossible to keep a complete set.

That's good...I mean additional collection. I from childhood stay away from the stamps. My father collected them, I liked the variety, pictures, different "denominations", specially "space" themed stamps. But together with this it was huge amount (for me at least), that I didn't understand - how it possible to collect this... In opposite to this - coins (from over the world) were rare. and every-time it was a great luck to add coin to collection. So recent production of many new NCLT issues by RCM, reminds me those stamps.

So mad I was away working couldn't get on lately heard about superman coins I love superman and comics and coins told wife order me one of each not that I have the budget for it lol. She ordered 6 of them for me guess which 6........... no gold, told me the other one was to much lol.I showed her how much it's selling for on ebay she said she would made me sell it anyway then I told her I could got 2 atleast from RCM and maybe more here although I never bought anything from anyone here yet but there's always a first time. She said well you should ordered it then guess what I will next time lol. Then again if it didn't go up and I bought 2 and couldn't unload it I'd be divorced anyway if the price every drops and somebody wants to get rid of one I'd love to have a complete set.Ya I know good luck on that lol. If there's anything good that came out of this I got MC status still out of it.

I was at Canada Post Vancouver and got the last of their Press sheets..They come in a huge cardboard cylinder about 3 inches in diameter and 30 inches long all in bright red and blue. Nice packaging!....Then I strolled over to the RCM boutique on Granville and lo and behold they had 4 of the Superman coins available at 1 per customer ....couldnt resist!..Anyways I'm not married so I dont have that problem of the nay saying wife. Ah ..the single life....Then I wandered down to the comic store and showed the guys the coins....they tried to hide the fact they adored them and quickly went back to their comic book business..go figure!..it showed me that a lot of folks are skeptical about this series but each to his own..2500 seems to be the going price for a gold superman as of today.....The comic book guy had a good phrase for it...manufactured scarcity..... which definitely applies to the superman gold.....Ill probably go back to the RCM boutique tommorrow and score whatever might remain.......stay tuned...c77

Cassidy77,
Golden Age Collectibles is the store you are talking about. Aside from the owner, the staff are idiots. They are 20 year old guys/gals who know nothing about collectibles. They have the nerve to say, "manufactured scarcity" when the stuff they sell are worthless mass produced junk.

@moneypenny......im sure the RCM thought long and hard about the gold coin mintage and didnt count on the Superman appeal of a 14 carat gold coin with kryptonian writing on it. I'm sure all their gold coins will now feature kryptonian legends and an image of superman buried somewhere. You would have thought that having a DC Comics approved design would have captured a lot of Comic Book dealer interest but I dont think even the coin dealers expected this series to be so popular......anyways I'm waiting for my gold coins to arrive and looking fwd to seeing them in the flesh as it were, I've seen all the rest and I'm happy to have got in early. I think the Dealer aforementioned were actually a bit chagrined that they didnt jump on it but too proud to admit it..thats the vibe I got...and I was talking to the older management guys.

USD$2,700 per piece. lol. Finally some dealer has it in stock. And the price is good to own this unique superior RCM creation, or to resell for $5.000
