Not sure if this is the correct forum but The Time Machine Co. is having an amazing sale on ancient coins and antiquities where 1500+ items are 50% off and 1000's others are also on sale.

http://www.vcoins.com/en/stores/tim...cient#!/Home

Now just to make it clear. I am in no way related or affiliated to The Time Machine Co.

I just wanted to make sure that others got great offers. Enjoy!

Hmm. Their 'sale' prices look more like optimistic retail prices for the examples I checked. They do have a large selection of coins, although mostly low grade or harshly cleaned.

I have looked at Time Machine Co. in the past and to be honest for a lot of those coins I wouldn't pay the sale price. This sale has been going on for almost 4 months now I think and to me it feels like they inflate the prices and toss a 'sale' tag on it to drop it down to what anyone else would call a retail price.

Others may disagree though.

Just had a quick look, not buying from there, the pictures they use are worse than the ones I take for ebay

I don't know anything about ancient coins. I only one ancient that I got as a gift a few years ago as a gift. I had a look through them snd thought they were aweful too but I've seen ugly ancient coins before that have sold for a fortune. Thats one of the reasons I don't collect ancients, because its hard to find interesting gold and silver pieces for under $150 each and I couldnt see myself builiding a collection with that kind of a price tag per coin. But yeah I just shared the link cause I thought people might find something good.

And don't give up on ancients. You can find plenty of good/interesting specimens in silver for under $150.
